FarewellMrPresident Guidelines

Please Respect Our Community

You trust us, and thus we trust you. This trust means be responsible!

Do Not Post Inappropriate Videos!

We think you are wise enough to know what this means. Actually, this part is more about protecting us than protecting you. (Sorry, just being honest here!) If your video is flagged by one of our visitors as potentially inappropriate, it means it may not follow our Terms of Service. A flag doesn’t mean instant removal! It does mean though that we will have to check it out to see if it’s a violation or not. If we end up removing your video, we did so for a reason. You messed up. You didn’t follow the rules. You are out of the club. Seriously, it just means that your video has taken down because you violated the rules. If doesn’t mean forever estrangement. Chill out, take a few minutes to read our Terms of Service and rethink what you post. If you don’t violate the rules with future videos, they won’t get taken down. Simple enough, right?

The rules of the game

Rules were made to be broken? Not so much. Just have some common sense, and we’ll all be great. Here are some guidelines:

  • Please avoid anything that would make your mom blush. Well, no, that’s ok. Your mom may be a prude. But stay away from porn or anything too sexually explicit. If it’s too offensive to be viewed in polite company, show discretion before posting it here. And it goes without saying: if it breaks decency laws, it breaks our rules.
  • See above. It applies to all other laws as well. Whether it’s about terrorism, masochism, or animal brutality, if it will get you in jail in real life, it will get you removed here.
  • Remember how you got suspended in high school for beating up nerds during recess? Guess what? Still a bad idea! No violence, no maiming, no bloodshed. Got it? Good.
  • While we don’t have a problem with good old-fashioned fun, there’s no need for shock value. Avoid super gross-outs and gratuitous violence. See a theme here yet?
  • Whether you are at the movies or listening to music, copyright is copyright. Don’t upload anything that you don’t own. No exceptions. If you upload something, you made it, and you own the content within it. That includes using samples of someone’s music or programming. If it’s not yours, you can’t play with it. Simple enough – you learned that in pre-school, no?
  • Obviously, by creating this site, we support free speech. But even that has its boundaries. Harassment, threats, invasion of privacy, or hateful speech/videos are never tolerated and will get your video removed – and your account terminated. This is a biggie.
You know how your email has a spam folder? Trash is trash. We don’t want it, no one wants to receive it. If you spam people, you will be deleted. Just don’t do it.

We don’t make these rules to hear ourselves talk…er…type. They are serious, and please take them seriously. If you understand and follow them, we will get along great – if you don’t, you will reap the punishment. We aren’t a one strike you’re out sort of place – you will be warned. But if you ignore the warning, you can get your account terminated – and not be welcome back.

Make Your Community a Success!

A community is only as good as its members – each and every one of you are contributing to helping the site to expand and grow. But it also means that one bad apple can spoil the bunch! (Thanks, grandma.)

  • Remember to enjoy yourself. There’s more to enjoy every day, and more people to enjoy it. Tell your friends, and hopefully they will share with theirs. The more involvement, the more to do and see.
  • Like/hate something? We can only help if we know what’s going on. Feedback is the essential part of the process. Tell members what you think, tell us what you think. Share what you want more of, and want you want less of. We can grow together. But be nice. If you see something that seems to violate our Terms of Service, flag it and let us know – we’ll check it out and take the appropriate next step. And follow the rules yourself, or you’ll be the one being flagged!
Ok! Carry on! Lecture over!
